Pups are 8 weeks old!

I have been delinquent in posting news and photos - Eight puppies take up a lot of time and energy!  Here are some new pics taken over the last couple of weeks.  Puppies have been to the vet for their health check and first set of shots - of course everyone LOVED them!  The kids will start going home this weekend!

Six weeks old today!

It is so hard to believe the babies are SIX weeks old already.  Here are some photos from the weekend!

Our first trip to the backyard!

The puppies had a big weekend with lots of company and their first trip out to the backyard.  They played and played with both human visitors and each other.  Mama Bella kept a close eye on things!

Just like the last Bella x Tristan litter these puppies are fascinated by all my empty pots!

 

 

Pups had great fun running in and out from under the climber and playing with Bella.

 

 

After the puppies eat their puppy food, Bella provides dessert!

 

Bella won't let them stray too far away in the yard - there is plenty of time for that later!

 

 

After about an hour outside the puppies are all tuckered out and ready to sleep!

Lots of excitement!

Lots of excitement and changes for the puppies the last few days!  They are now eating puppy food (softened) two times a day.  They either eat their meal in the puppy pen OR - big excitement - outside in the dog run/patio area!  Bella is not sure about them wandering around out there and tries to herd them all together but they have been pretty brave so far!  A couple even ventured out onto the rocks!  This weekend if weather is good enough I hope to take them out into the big back yard for an outing or two!  My friend Lynne is coming to visit and help with the puppies so it should be lots of fun!

We sure like our groceries!!!

 

 

It's a whole new world out here and  we were so BRAVE!!!

 

 

Back to the whelping box for fun and games and then sleep! Blue boy and Orange Boy are always "hamming it up" - they must think there is a prize for most photogenic!
